An awful storm starts and the raft is bashed about and the group is in danger. They reach the beach, and after exploring it with Tico’s help, they find the undeniable proof which the banker Sullivan asked them for: Arne Saknussem’s dagger beside a tunnel with his name carved on it. An enormous rock covers the entrance and they decide to blow it up to continue on their journey. They light the fuse and search for cover aboard the raft pushing off from the shore. The explosion is terrifying.
