The Blue Hawk gang make their escape by sea, pursued by D’Artacan and the Three Muskehounds in one ship, and Rochefort and Widimer in another. D’Artacan’s ship sinks in a storm, but D’Artacan and Pom manage to reach a ghost ship – another of Milady’s tricks. It blows up, but D’Artacan and Pom hang on to a floating barrel to reach the shores of an island.
