Despite the efforts of Richelieu’s men to stop him, D’Artacan and Pom, with the help of the Three Muskehounds, succeed in taking a boat to London. On arrival they make their way to the Buckingham Palace, where Buckingham tells them that he has already handed over the necklace to the Queen’s own envoy. His description of the envoy fits Milady.
