Richelieu and his followers are determined to find and capture Juliet again. They succeed, but her whereabouts are soon disclosed to D’Artacan by Pom, a mouse who usually lives with Juliet’s uncle, and who befriends D’Artacan because he shared his food with him. D’Artacan fights his way to where she is being held, only to faint with emotion when he sees her.
