DAVID tells us about the plants, how they learn to distinguish curative plants from the poisonous ones. Confusion is caused when JONATHAN, LISA’s nephew, comes to learn how to be a doctor. The other gnomes believe it is because DAVID is sick and he will be substituted. When they are in their house, DAVID explains how he has helped them individually, persuading JONATHAN that being a doctor is not as bad as he has suspected. Afterwards, they must help a baby deer that has been shot by a hunter.
